Yo Ho!
Okay, I've had some time to think this through and to break my almost continuing posts about all my festivities, I here by present my short review of 'At World's End'. The third and (possibly) not final episode of the Pirates of the Caribean trilogy, is also the longest one. At least that how it seems. I watched it last week, so I don't remember the details and endless plot twists and betrayals.
Which is my first 'problem' with this movie. I really did not follow all the plot twists (if you can even call it that, when there is no plot big enough to be twisted) and betrayals of all characters. Who's collaberating with who and who's pulling whose nose? Ah well, as long as there are swords and ships.
Not too many of them though, it might get boring when the movie is too long. Doh! Too late... the movie is already too long. Especially in between the action scenes, where they try to 'explain' the story and its events. But don't get me wrong I very much liked this movie. It's not a classic, only part one can be one, but it's definitely entertaining and the Yo Ho! song still swirled around in my head after a couple of days.
Although it's more of the same in part 3, it's bigger and better then ever. The surreal sailing scenes in the desert, the maelstrom battle, all pretty amazing! Not to forget the crazy character Jack Sparrow.
If you're going to watch PotC3-AWE for the second or perhaps even the first time (even after this review), than don't forget to stay behind untill the end of the final credits. There's a special short epilogue in store for you there.

I agree, great movie to watch. I didn’t have any problems following the plot twists. Maybe it helps to be a women or to watch complicated series. ;-)
Don’t you mean PotC3-AWE??

I didn’t have too much trouble following the plot, I must admit. I wish I’d stayed ‘til the end of the Credits, though. Now I WANT to see that Cutscene!
